The famous mall on 34th Street was used for several scenes in the movie. From where Buddy mistakingly sprays perfume in his mouth, to where he struggles with going up an escalator and where he meets Jovie. Besides the mall, it also served as the exterior shots of Gimbels which is a real department store that closed back in 1987.

Another famous filming location from the movie is Rockefeller Center Plaza where Jovi and Buddy meet for their fun date! This is a gorgeous location and can be quite crowded during the holidays. You can find a lot of Christmas trees, lights and decorations here!

The last but not least filming location from the movie is the company that Buddy’s father works at. The actual building that this scene was filmed at is located at 20 West 34th Street at 5th Avenue. It’s a pretty tall building, so make sure you bring your camera!
